Located in Williamstown, this camp is for athletes ages 8-18.  For the week of June 25-29, 2007.   This is expert instruction for the beginner to established player, led by Jeff Stripp, a former two-time All-American at Williams College, who has been coaching lacrosse ever since.  Last year the camp ran from 9 am to 4 pm.  A value of $150.

4. ONE WEEK OF THE BERKSHIRES GIRLS’ BASKETBALL CAMP

 

Run by Pat Manning (head coach of the women’s basketball team at Williams) this is a fun camp for girls ages 7-17, giving them the chance to improve their skills in a safe and supportive teaching atmosphere.  The camp provides a fun environment in which to learn the fundamentals of the game.  Ms. Manning is assisted by assistant coaches and current and former Williams players.  Donated by Pat Manning, this is good for the week of August 6-10, 2007.  Worth $300!

8. DINING, EATING AND TABLE ETIQUETTE INSTRUCTION WITH LUNCH

 

Emily Post, move over.  This day includes dining, eating, and table etiquette instruction with luncheon at Mezze for up to 10 children (ages 8-12).  Instruction will include: basics of table manners, napkin use, appropriate dining conversation, identification of table setting, use of silverware, how to be a good guest or host, ordering, interacting with wait staff and a discussion of the value of sharing meals with others.  Students will enjoy a 3-course luncheon during instruction, will meet the chef, and tour Mezze’s kitchen.  (Must be scheduled on a Saturday prior to April 30th, and is subject to Mezze’s availability.)  A $750 donation, with our thanks to Mezze and Linda Stripp.
